This policy covers the Doubletaire website. The Doubletaire app has not been released, so it has no privacy practices to describe yet.

The short version

This website does not ask you for any personal information, and there is nowhere on it to give us any. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no contact forms and no comment fields. We do not sell or share data about you, because we do not hold any.

What we do collect

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views, so we can see which pages people find useful. It is privacy-preserving by design: it does not set cookies, does not use device fingerprinting, does not track you across other websites, and does not build a profile of you. It records aggregate information such as the page visited, the referring site, and a coarse country-level location derived from your IP address. Your IP address itself is not stored by the analytics service.

Because there are no cookies and no cross-site tracking, this site does not show a cookie consent banner — there is nothing to consent to.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes the requests needed to deliver pages to you and keeps short-lived operational logs, which can include IP addresses, for security and reliability purposes. That processing is Vercel’s, under their own privacy terms, and we do not use those logs to identify individual visitors.

Things this site does not do

  • No advertising, and no advertising or marketing trackers.
  • No social media pixels, embeds or share widgets that phone home.
  • No third-party fonts loaded at runtime — typefaces are served from this domain.
  • No accounts, logins, newsletters or stored personal data.
  • No sale or sharing of personal information, under any definition of those terms.

The Doubletaire app

Doubletaire is in development and has not been released. It therefore collects nothing, because it does not exist in anyone’s hands yet. When the app ships, it will have its own privacy policy describing what it actually does — published before release, not guessed at now.

Children

This website is a general-audience information site. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included, because it does not collect personal information at all.

Changes

If what this site does changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top will be updated. We will not quietly broaden it.
