However you play it, Doubletaire is one challenge across two layouts — not two games that happen to sit next to each other.
Solo
Two games. One player.
You manage both layouts yourself. The challenge is not solving two games in parallel — it is seeing them as one connected system and finding the order that works.
Sometimes the best move for one game is waiting in the other.
Play Together
Solitaire doesn't have to be solitary.
Two players each take a layout and work toward a connected result. You talk, you plan, and you watch for the moments when something on your side is exactly what the other side needs.
Cooperative by design — you win it together, not against each other.
Online Play
The same challenge, further apart.
Connected play over a distance is part of the design direction for Doubletaire, so that two people do not have to be in the same room to share a game.
